Come and enjoy an intimate dinner with our Winemaker Shawn Kalleske as we launch the 2014 Moppa Block Shiraz amongst an ambient setting at La Tombola Italian Restaurant.

It’s with great pleasure that we’ve teamed up with restaurant owner Tony De Ieso of La Tombola to bring you this intimate evening of fabulous food and wine hosted by Winemaker Shawn Kalleske.  What better way to launch the 2014 Moppa Block Shiraz than to pair it with one of Adelaide’s best steaks in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere!

Here’s how the menu will look…

1st Course:  Souffleé Di Formaggio – Double baked gorgonzola cheese soufflé with sundried tomatoes, olives, baby rocket and asparagus.  Paired with Jack’s Shiraz 2006 & 2016
2nd Course:  Penne con Pancetta Piccante – Short noodle pasta, tossed with Italian sausage mince, bacon and roasted roma tomatoes.  Paired with Greenock Shiraz 2004 & 2014
3rd Course:  Grilled SA Angus Beef Eye Fillet – With a rich red wine jus served with sautéed spinach prosciutto and garlic. Paired with 2014 Moppa Block Shiraz
4th Course:  Tira Mi Sú – Sponge fingers flavoured with coffee & liqueur layered with mascarpone cream. Paired with 2010 Vintage SV Shiraz

Where:  La Tombola Italian Restaurant, 61 Unley Road Parkside SA
When:  Wednesday 18th July 2018
Time:  6:30pm for a 7pm start
Menu:  Set menu of 4 delicious courses carefully paired to 6 flights of new release and back vintage wines
Cost:  $95pp

An absolute taste sensation is guaranteed and no one will leave hungry that’s for sure!  Exclusive wine deals available on the night. Seats are limited and payment is required at time of booking. Avoid disappointment and book early as this is sure to be a popular evening!

Wine is heat sensitive. During the warmer months we reserve the right to hold orders in instances of extreme heat, until there is a clear path of non-extreme temperatures between us and you. All orders are packed and stored safely in our cellar awaiting better conditions to send the wine when it can be more safely dispatched to you.

Alternatively, you may request immediate dispatch despite the heat (at your risk) by choosing ‘Yes’.
