A new addition can now be spotted on the back of our current release Jack’s labels. QR codes that once scanned will give you an insight into the wine by our very own Winemaker, Shawn Kalleske.
Scan the QR code with your smartphone!
Once scanned by your smartphone, our QR codes (short for Quick Response code) will open up with a short insightful video of Shawn talking about elements of the wine such as the vintage, wine making, cellaring, food matches etc.
Most new model smartphones have built in scanners. iPhones running on iOS 11 and higher and some Android devices can scan QR codes without downloading an external app. Open your camera and point it steadily for a couple of seconds over the QR code. If nothing happens, you may have to go to your Settings and enable QR Code Scanning.
So next time you grab a 2017 Jack’s Semillon, 2018 Jack’s GSM or 2018 Jack’s Shiraz turn the bottle around and scan away!
