The 2009 Jack’s Shiraz was predominantly sourced from the Kalleske’s Home Block with small parcels included from the Hill and Moppa Blocks.
Show Tasting Notes
Appearance: Black core with crimson rim.
Aroma: Vibrant sweet blackberry, blueberry and plum dominate the nose with accents of chocolate, liquorice, pepper and cedar notes.
Palate: Concentrated black fruits entwined with bitter chocolate and liquorice, supported by soft supple tannins.
Region: 100% Barossa Valley

Total Acid: 6.50 g/L
Alcohol: 14.50%
Cellar Potential: 8 – 10 years with careful cellaring
Maturation: 60% French oak hogsheads (10% new), 40% American oak hogsheads (10% new) for 20 Months.
